The following letter is in response to the Rev. Jesse Jackson's actions in Illinois in 1999. He
decided to make a case or discrimination out of an obvious response to disruptive behavior. A
number of students were expelled after being involved in a fight at a football game. Jackson
decided that they were expelled because of the color of their skin.
